What is the Dashboard? The dashboard provides a comprehensive web interface for managing workers, channels, campaigns, contacts, metrics, and workspace settings without writing code.

Getting Started

The dashboard is your central command center for managing your Plati AI workspace. All features available through the API are also accessible through the dashboard, making it easy to configure and monitor your conversational AI applications.

Permissions & Access Control

The dashboard implements a role-based access control system to ensure users only have access to features appropriate for their role.

Available Roles

ADMIN

Full access to all features including workspace management, billing, and admin-only sections

EDITOR

Can create and edit resources (workers, channels, campaigns) but cannot access admin features

VIEWER

Read-only access to metrics, leads, chats, and contacts. Cannot modify any resources

Access Restrictions

VIEWER Role Limitations:
  • Cannot access /dashboard/workers
  • Cannot access /dashboard/channels
  • Cannot access /dashboard/tools
  • Cannot access /dashboard/campaigns
  • Can only view their own profile in settings
ADMIN Only:
  • /dashboard/clients - Client management features
VIEWER Can Access:
  • /dashboard/metrics - View analytics
  • /dashboard/leads - View leads
  • /dashboard/chats - View conversations
  • /dashboard/contacts - View contacts
Permission Management: Workspace admins can change member roles through the Members section in workspace settings.

Many dashboard sections update in real-time, showing new conversations, leads, and metrics as they occur without requiring page refreshes.

Error Handling

The dashboard includes comprehensive error boundaries to ensure that issues in one section don’t affect the entire application. Critical sections are protected with dedicated error handling.

Performance Optimization

Heavy components like charts and Kanban boards are loaded dynamically to ensure fast initial page loads and smooth user experience.
